Warning: Dublin-centric post coming up.
This Sunday 25th sees The Great Rail Sale taking place in Dublin's Radisson Blu. With an emphasis on good, gently worn clothes, as opposed to any old second hand tat that you want to get rid of, there should be some serious bargains to be found.
There will be around 100 rail holders, each rail holding up to 60 items (rails are split between 2 people) and that's not including shoes, handbags and accessories.
Another aspect of the event that I really like is the 'Dress For Success' drive that will be taking place. Railholders and visitors alike are urged to bring along any office appropriate, gently worn clothes to donate to Dress For Success - they provide clothing for disadvantaged women to attend interviews and further their careers. Dress For Success will provide large envelopes for the clothes and some paper should you wish to include a few motivational words for the recipient. I'm excited about giving to such a clever and inspired drive to further women's careers.
So, if you fancy bagging a bargain, or giving to Dress For Success, come along! Full details are on the poster below. I'll be there with a rail and a few items, including, probably (i.e. if they don't get snapped up on eBay first!), the Givenchy heels seen in the outfit post below. Hope to see you there!!
